About me

Design involves the pairing of critical thinking and problem solving ideas with the aesthetic; design is not about just making pretty objects.
My design career began with art classes while attending Westlake High School in Austin, Texas. At Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas I studied Environmental Design in the College of Architecture. After receiving my Bachelor of Environmental Design, going back to school for a Masters in Architecture was my next goal.
Following my masters degree, graphic design and marketing became my new pursuit. I worked at Texas A&M University from 2000-2007 designing for many of the departments and colleges on campus.
While living in College Station, Texas, I designed for many other groups in the community including the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum and the Arts Council of Brazos Valley. Volunteering my design time for groups like the Prenatal Clinic, the Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial, the Brazos Family Medicine Clinic, and Voices for Children Court Appointed Special Advocates has been my way to give back to the community that has given so much to me.
Acquiring knowledge is on the top of the list when it comes to my daily goals. I am always observing the world around me to help me become a better designer than I was the day before. In this era of rapidly changing technology, the future is looking very exciting. Design will definitely be an integral part of that future.
